Spartan Warrior Pendant M99

 A sterling silver pendant with the name ¨Spartian warrior¨, is adorned with gold-plated Spartan helmet in the middle and all around intricate details.

In Sparta there was a perception that soldiers had to return from battle victorious or dead.

It is characteristic that before they went to battle, the mother gave the shield to her son and said to him at ancient Greek "tan, or epi tas", which means that "either he would come back victorious or on top of  the shield dead".
